Calling all Northwest Arkansans! Our community’s seniors need gift donations during the holidays this year! The 2016 holiday season marks the 10th Annual Senior Giving Tree program, which is a service that delivers gifts to home-bound seniors that are enrolled in the (amazing) Meals on Wheels program. We need our fellow Northwest Arkansans to help out by collecting and donating the gifts that will be delivered to our seniors in need. Here are a few gift ideas to help you get started: robes, nightgowns, house slippers, blankets, crossword puzzles, emergence radios, batteries, nightlights, first aid kits, and gift cards. Money is ALWAYS welcome and will be used to purchase gifts. All other (unwrapped) gift donations can be dropped off at the Community Resources office (125 W. Mountain Street) from now until December 5th.
